One of the best (and only I might add) books I read in business school was Hoover's Vision, a book that provides a framework for entrepreneurial thinking across a variety of areas. I'm actually re-reading it again — quite a bit of content in the book is timeless and the lessons are just as valuable today as they were when the book was published almost a decade ago.
Aside from working as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the McCombs School of Business, Gary is blogging at Hoover's World. Some of the content there is reposted from the book, while other content has been updated. I particularly enjoyed his thoughts on pattern recognition, business models, and Austin's growth. Although I've never actually met him in person, I've internalized more than just a few lessons from his book and put them to use at Notice Technologies. Enjoy!
Thanks for the nice note!
